Choose your settings
Play 10 or 20 questions at A1, A2 or mixed difficulty. Display a word, a word with its translation, or a sentence. The optional question timer allows 10, 20 or 30 seconds.
Get checked feedback
The server checks your answer. A question whose timer has expired counts as incorrect. Feedback connects the noun with its article, and reloading lets you resume the round.
Finish the whole round
A correct answer earns 10 XP and 2 coins. Ordinary game rewards are saved only after the entire round is completed; an abandoned round gives no partial reward.
Example
die Wolke
the cloud
Wolke is feminine, so its definite article is die. This practises noun gender rather than the full system of German cases.
Questions and answers
Does this cover every German case?
No. Choosing der, die or das practises the definite article and noun gender, not every declension.
Do I have to use a timer?
No. You can leave the question timer off.
